Actually, I'm not excited. I'm kinda annoyed you lot are all going to drive the price up when I don't have the money to buy one. :(

How much would it cost to import one of these?

5 valves all crowded up on a tiny cylinder? Damn Japan you crazy! Apparently wikipedia says it was the first mass-produced engine of that type.

There aren't any 89s for sale on Goo right now, so it don't know the price, but there is a 91 example with only 30,000 kms on the clock on there now for 5,800.

I've seen 89 ZZ-4s go for 3 or 4 pretty regularly. I don't expect them to get any more expensive, given the glut of kei everything over there and the lack of demand elsewhere in the world. It's worth noting that in 1990, the displacement increased from 550 to 660ccs.

I'm assuming I would probably need to buy two, one to drive and one as a parts car...
